Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and PrepAid ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the PrepAid mobile application, website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use PrepAid. If you are under 18, you confirm you have a parent's or guardian's permission.
• You must provide accurate registration information, including a phone number you control, and verify it when asked.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, manipulate scores, exploit bugs, or use automation to gain unfair advantages on quizzes, streaks, XP, or leaderboards;
• Copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell our question bank, explanations, or coaching content;
• Circumvent free-tier limits, subscription checks, or device restrictions;
• Harass or abuse other users or our staff, or submit unlawful, hateful, or obscene content;
• Attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove content, reset gamification stats obtained unfairly, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Intellectual property

The Service — including questions, explanations, coaching content, branding, and software — is owned by PrepAid or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own exam and interview preparation.

You retain ownership of the content you create (such as interview practice answers). You grant us a limited license to process that content to provide the Service — for example, sending your answers to our AI provider to generate feedback.

5. Subscriptions & payments

• Free tier: basic access with usage limits (for example, a limited number of quiz and interview sessions).
• Premium: paid plans unlock unlimited sessions, full interview coaching, and offline downloads. Current pricing and durations are shown in the app before you pay.
• Payment processing: payments are made by mobile money through Moolre, our payment processor. By subscribing you also agree to Moolre's applicable terms. We activate Premium only after the transaction is verified.
• Renewal & expiry: plans run for the purchased duration and do not auto-renew unless the app clearly states otherwise. You'll be reminded before an active plan expires.
• Refunds: completed subscription payments are generally non-refundable, except where a duplicate or erroneous charge occurred or where required by law. Contact support within 7 days of a problematic transaction and we will investigate in good faith.
• Price changes apply only to future purchases, never retroactively to an active plan.

6. AI features disclaimer

The AI Interview Coach generates feedback using artificial intelligence. It is a practice tool, not professional career, academic, or admissions advice, and its assessments do not predict or guarantee any admission outcome. AI-generated content can be imperfect — use your judgment and, where it matters, verify with qualified humans.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current;
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost opportunities, arising from your use of the Service;
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using PrepAid and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms (including cheating or abuse), if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable, we will warn you first. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, liability limits, disputes) survive termination.

9. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We prefer to resolve issues informally — contact us first and we will try to work it out. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Ghana.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated Terms here, revise the "Last updated" date, and notify you in the app of material changes at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
